I usually use 12gb of ram and atm10 only takes like 8gb But in the latest version it slowly increases the longer i play, until its full. This mod fixes memory leaks of some mods, neoforge and minecraft until they implement their fixes. Look for uncommon memory usage, and the minecraft client getting really close to the allocated memory limit i don't think it's a memory leak, still using the same amount of memory when increasing memory allocation.
